Moving Cities: Moving People: Moving Minds
‘Moving Cities: Moving People: Moving Minds’, was a transdisciplinary exhibition developed to be part of the inaugural design triennial in Brisbane; Unlimited: Designing for the Asia Pacific. A collaboration between Deka, Architectus, Inkahoots and Griffith University QCA Master of Design Futures Program the exhibition explored the designing of a secure new habitation in a world of rapidly changing climate conditions.
Exhibited at The State Library’s The Edge, this exhibition reveals our growing unsustainability within an imminent crisis, and presents a practical solution to challenges of urbanisation. The trans-form-it furniture collection which I designed and developed in collaboration with Deka was included in this exhibition to show a practical response to these challenges of mobility and transportability in an increasingly urbanised yet vulnerable world.
